LemonBottle Maker SID MEDICOS Courts Latin America After Medellín Congress

More than 1,000 medical aesthetics professionals, practitioners and distribution representatives visited SID MEDICOS' stand over three days at AMWC Latin America 2026 in Medellín, Colombia, held 29–31 October. That foot traffic is the South Korean company's strongest signal yet that its flagship LemonBottle brand has real traction in the region.
SID MEDICOS used the congress to showcase the LemonBottle portfolio, which currently centers on professional body contouring and skincare products. But the company also sketched a wider ambition: expansion into post-treatment care and daily-use products. In plain words, the brand wants to follow patients from the clinic chair into their bathroom shelf.
What did the Medellín talks cover?
The conversations at the stand weren't casual. Discussions with representatives from Colombia and other Latin American markets covered four concrete areas:
- local demand for the portfolio
- distribution channels
- professional education
- marketing support
Longer-term partnership opportunities were also on the table. The company said it will now assess market conditions and potential partners country by country, weighing local distribution structures and regulatory requirements before committing.
"Following our activities in Mexico, our participation in Colombia gave us another opportunity to hear directly from industry professionals across Latin America and better understand the needs of individual markets," a company representative said. SID MEDICOS added that it will maintain discussions with prospective local partners to develop approaches suited to each market.
Is this a one-off push or a regional strategy?
AMWC Latin America was the company's third industry event in the region this year, and the pattern is deliberate. SID MEDICOS previously exhibited at FACE & BODY 2026 in Guadalajara, Mexico, in April, then at Dermacosmética 2026 in Mexico City in October. Three congresses across two countries in a single year is a serious cadence for a market-entry effort — roughly one regional appearance every few months.
The takeaway: this is a structured, multi-market rollout, not a single trade-show experiment.
What backs the brand's claims?
LemonBottle is already distributed in more than 86 countries, according to the company. That figure, like the stand-visit count, comes from SID MEDICOS itself rather than independent audit — a distinction dermatology readers will want to keep in mind when weighing manufacturer statements against trial data.
The company's export record carries a public marker, though. In 2024, South Korea awarded SID MEDICOS the US$20 million Export Tower Award, recognizing its export performance. The award — roughly the value of the export threshold it represents — signals scale in the company's home market and a government-validated track record of selling abroad.
SID MEDICOS develops products for the global beauty and aesthetics sector under its stated vision, "Technology for Healthy Beauty."
What comes next?
For now, no signed distribution deals have been announced from Medellín. The company's stated next step is evaluation: market-by-market assessment of conditions, partners, distribution structures and regulatory requirements, followed by continued talks with prospective local partners.
If those assessments convert into agreements, Latin America would become a deeper foothold for a brand already present in 86-plus countries — and the move from professional-only products into daily-use skincare would put LemonBottle in front of consumers, not just clinics, across the region.
